- 100 = coarse
- 180 = medium fine
What grit types do you use for which filing techniques?
100 - filing away old product and thinning tips.
180 - Finishing artificial nails and preparing natural nails.
After use, it is best to tap or brush a nail file clean and disinfect it, otherwise the present bacteria will continue to develop. You can disinfect with Barbicide (mixed) or with alcohol. Using a spray bottle is convenient; let the files dry thoroughly before storing them.
Hygiene files are adhesive files that you attach to the metal/plastic handle and remove and discard after use.
